Update: Here's the news release from the Davenport Police Department regarding today's bank robbery at Wells Fargo.
"On Tuesday, December 4th, 2018 at approximately 9:36 a.m. the Davenport Police Department responded to Wells Fargo Bank, 1618 Main St. reference a robbery.
"The suspect entered the bank and implied a weapon. He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident.
"Follow up investigation is being conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division.
"Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to “DO WHAT’S RIGHT” and call the Davenport Police Department at 563-326-3125 or submit an anonymous tip via our mobile application entitled “CityConnect Davenport, IA” "

UPDATED: Davenport police are on scene this morning at the Wells Fargo Bank on Main Street after a reported robbery.
The call came in around 9:30 a.m.
Scanner traffic indicates that the suspect implied that he had a gun but didn’t display one.
The front door has been roped off with yellow crime scene tape. Several squads, including the Crime Scene Unit, are on scene.
